L-Lysine for Cats

I have three cats. I've had them for 5 years. They were all feral at one time. The momma of the three does have FIV. She is the only one that I can't get to eat this on food. I'm going to start giving tiny amounts and hopefully get her used to the taste. My other two cats (her kiddos) don't bat an eye and have no issues eating it.
The oldest kitten (who is the now 3)started hiding behind the bathroom door. He quit playing and wouldn't hardly leave the shop area. Six months ago, we had a bad thunderstorm. We went outside around midnight to watch the lightening. I had no idea that Kitty had snuck out. Long story short, about 4:00am I hear Him screaming and he is obviously getting into a fight with something right outside. I got him inside immediately, but he hasn't been the same cat since that night. He is very freaked out and scared to come out during the day. I've been giving him this lysine for about three weeks. For the last 4 days, he has been going out playing and not hiding behind the bathroom door. I'm not sure what exactly this lysine is doing, but I sure hope it continues. His energy is back and he is actually going outside being adventurous like he used to be. And He is back to cuddling with me.
I only give half a scoop to each cat. A full scoop is way too much.
If you have thought about trying this, I would highly recommend it.

I've been using this on two sick foster kittens and a sick adult for a week now. They seem to be slowly improving. They are having less sneezing and runny eyes. All the cats in the house like the flavor. It mixes right in with their wet food and they eat it up. I would buy this again.

I've tried alot of products for specific things and there ok. Lysine for cats is the best over all healthy nutrition out there. I plan on using it as a regular diet for oreo. Pics dont lie!

We mix it with wet food and the cats like it. It did clump just a little bit towards the end. Made in the US. We have an FIV positive cat that we give it to help strengthen his immune system. His name is Andy.

Birdie showed up at my house via car engine we think, about 2 or 3 weeks old. Super runny eye and sneezy. He was diagnosed with FHV-1. He's 2 now. We did the antibiotics, the antivirals, the L-lysine gel he refused to try. Did some digging and found DN L-lysine. I put it in a Churro treat once a day. It's been about ten days now. First couple days, so much snot that was stuck in his little head came out of him. By day 5 he had the zoomies so bad, his older siblings were sick of it 😄 i'll be putting them on it soon too! He still has runny eye and mucus, but he is definitely feeling much better. Also- customer service is top notch. They accidentally sent me the wrong item at first. They responded quickly, sent the right item and had me keep the green lipped Mussels, which my older cats love. 5 stars all the way around!

I have a male cat who will eat part if his canned food then sit and wait for me to sprinkle it with the L-Lysine powder. I call it his fishy. He loves it! Thank you for making such a great product.

Company is good and answers to any issues right away. First order I have gotten was unfortunately "open"/"damaged" and the company sent me another one right away. For that reason I will be returning. I give 1/3rd of scoop in wet food,as 1 scoop is Per day not per serving for those who are doing it wrong. The cats don't seem to mind.

I've got 8 cats and when one gets a cold, the rest aren't far behind. I started adding this to their canned food every couple of days — just dividing the scoops across the bowls — and it genuinely helped get rid of the sniffles. It's not a substitute for the vet — I want to be clear about that — but it has genuinely stopped outbreaks in their tracks more than once. With as many cats as I have, one sick kitty means everyone gets it, so having this on hand is non-negotiable. I mix it right into their wet food and they never skip a bite.

I have used this product a few times. When my cats start with upper respiratory issues, its my go to. It is not a replacement for vet care, but it has stopped the sneezing, watery eyes on several occasions. When you have as many cats as I do, it can spread like wildfire. I sprinkle it in wet food (mash it in) and sprinkle it on dry food. They eat it right up.
